Nc'nean Huntress Malted Teacake 2026 Single Malt Whisky 70cl: Creamy, Malty Organic Scotch from a Belgian Ale Yeast

Huntress Malted Teacake is the 2026 limited edition in Nc'nean's experimental Huntress series, bottled at 48.5% ABV in January 2026.

Made from 100% organic Scottish barley, it was fermented with yeasts including Dubbel Trouble, a strain usually used for Belgian-style ales, then matured in 50% STR red wine, 48% bourbon and 2% oloroso sherry casks.

The nose brings figs, pastries, sultana and apricot. The palate is creamy and malty, with freshly baked cake, dried fruit and crème caramel, before a malty, bright finish.

It is certified organic, non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, with 4,391 bottles released.
