Nc'nean Huntress Lemon Meadow 2025 Single Malt Whisky 70cl: Creamy, Floral Organic Scotch from an Experimental Yeast

Huntress Lemon Meadow is the 2025 spring limited edition from Nc'nean Distillery and the fourth release in its experimental Huntress series, bottled at 48.5% ABV.

It was fermented with a French sparkling wine yeast, rarely used in Scotch, from the distillery's first yeast trial in 2017, and matured in 56% STR red wine, 42% bourbon and 2% oloroso sherry casks.

The nose shows green apple, lemon peel and shortbread, followed by lemon sorbet, fresh chamomile, butter shortbread and brioche on the palate, with a fresh, floral finish.

It is certified organic, non-chill filtered, naturally coloured and unpeated. 5,729 bottles were released.
