Chairman’s Reserve 1931 is the prestigious "crown jewel" of St. Lucia Distillers. It was originally launched to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the distillery established by Denis Barnard in the Mabouya Valley in 1931. This expression isn't just a rum; it is a technical masterclass in the art of blending, designed to showcase the full spectrum of the distillery's capabilities.

This flagship rum stands out for its high-complexity "assemblage." It marries traditional molasses-based rum with a meaningful inclusion of agricultural (agricole) rum—distilled from 100% fresh sugarcane grown in the fields surrounding the Roseau Valley. By blending spirit from both the Coffey column and various copper pot stills, and aging the components for 6 to 12 years in a combination of ex-Bourbon and Port casks, the distillery has created a rum of profound character and hedonistic balance.
