Following the unique laws of the Domfrontais AOC, this Calvados was distilled from a high percentage of perry pears (often more than 30%) alongside cider apples. This pear-heavy base, combined with over 50 years of oak aging, results in a spirit that is more floral, elegant, and lighter on its feet than traditional apple-only Calvados, even at such an advanced age.
