As is tradition for the Lemorton family, this Calvados contains a significantly high proportion of pears (perry) alongside apples, grown on the clay and limestone soils of their southern Normandy estate. Distilled once in a continuous column still and aged for a minimum of 15 years in French oak, it develops a unique aromatic profile that makes it a refreshing alternative to whisky. It possesses the depth and complexity of a single malt but with a brighter, orchard-driven soul that makes for an incredible postprandial (after-dinner) tipple.
