Arran Quarter Cask Single Malt: Re-released 2019, 2-Year Quarter Cask Finish, Creamy Vanilla & Bold Peppery Spice

The Arran Quarter Cask Single Malt was re-released in autumn 2019 with a fresh new look. This full-bodied single malt achieves its concentrated flavour through a special maturation process.

The whisky is matured initially in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels before being transferred for a finishing period of a further two years in smaller American oak quarter casks. This use of smaller casks increases the wood-to-spirit contact, intensifying the flavour.
