The Takamaka Grankaz vintage is back with its second batch, offering a complex and highly anticipated blend from the Seychelles. This exceptional rum is the result of a meticulously crafted triple blend of three distinct rums:
Pot Still Pure Cane Juice Rum: Distilled from pure Seychelles cane juice and aged for 2 to 4 years in new French oak barrels with medium toast.
Seychelles Molasses Rum: Matured in bourbon barrels for three years.
Foursquare Molasses Rum: An 8-year-old molasses rum component sourced from the esteemed Foursquare Distillery in Barbados.
The final blend benefits from a 90-day rest in vats before undergoing a slow reduction led by Master Blender Steven Rioux. Crucially, the final bottling is carried out without any addition of colouring or sugar, and without cold filtration, ensuring purity and natural flavour retention.
