Ron Colón Salvadoreño Aged Dark Rum delivers big flavour from the smallest country in Central America, bottled at 40.5% ABV. This dark, aged expression is a masterful blend that combines 6-year-old column-distilled rum from El Salvador with both 3-year-old aged and unaged pot-distilled Jamaican rums from the renowned Worthy Park, Hampden, and Monymusk distilleries.


Despite being a dark rum, it is lighter than expected in colour and hits you with tropical fruit straight off the bat. The distinctive Jamaican style is very noticeable throughout the flavour profile. The palate is well-balanced, creamy, and warm, featuring notes of fresh banana, sticky pineapple, rich raisins, toasted warm spicy caramel, creamy milk chocolate, roasted almond, and dried chewy apricot. It concludes with a satisfyingly spicy, nutty, tropical finish.


At 40.5% ABV, this complex and flavourful rum lends itself perfectly to mixing, making it an excellent choice for a vibrant Rum Punch or for pairing with a fiery ginger beer.
