Established in 1972 following the merger of the island’s last two distilleries, Bounty is a premium white rum that defies the "unaged" stereotype. While most white rums are bottled straight from the still, Bounty is a 100% Coffey Still rum produced from Guyanese molasses and aged for 2 years in ex-Bourbon casks. It is then meticulously filtered to remove the colour, resulting in a spirit that possesses the crystal clarity of a white rum but the mellow, rounded soul of an aged spirit.
