Botivo Botanical Aperitivo 50cl: A Bittersweet Non-Alcoholic Aperitivo with Real Depth

Botivo is a non-alcoholic botanical aperitivo, hand-blended in small batches at Lannock Farm in Hertfordshire. It was launched in 2022 by Sam Paget Steavenson and Imme Ermgassen.

Its base is raw apple cider vinegar made from British orchard apples, double-fermented and aged for over a year. This is infused for several weeks with orange zest, gentian, wormwood, rosemary and thyme, then balanced with wildflower honey. There are no artificial flavours or sweeteners.

The result is bittersweet, herbal and zingy with a long finish, often compared to a Negroni.

For the signature serve, pour over ice, top with soda or sparkling water and garnish with an orange slice. It also works with tonic or in alcohol-free spritzes. Each bottle gives around 20 serves.
